  “Yes, I promise.”

  Mr. Ketch walked down the hall with Justin as Boris began to walk down the stairs. Natalia then pulled both her guns and pointed them at Boris.

  “Now Natalia, you’re not gonna kill me. I know that your brother must be dead because he never returned. Who did it you or him?”

  JASON

  “I killed your son Boris just like I’m gonna kill you,” I said

  “Oh, Jason really. Mr. Ketch has strict instructions to kill your son if any harm comes to me.”

  Ryan suddenly appeared. “Well Boris Mr. Ketch is not going to be able to keep that order.”

  “Where’s Justin, Ryan?” I said.

  “He’s fine. He’s in the other room with Vince. We came up through the lower tunnels which led to the room where we saw Mr. Ketch watching Justin. We finished him quickly and put his body in the closet, so Justin wouldn’t see.”

  Boris had a look of shock on his face.

  “Well Boris, it looks like things have taken a turn for the worse for you.”

  “It would seem that way, wouldn’t it Jason?”

  NATALIA

  “Jason, take our son and the rest of the team and get to the extraction point. This is between me and my father.”

  “That’s right, this is between me and my daughter.”

  Ryan began to scream.

  “Oh no, Natalia. It has gone well past that. This man killed my parents and deprived my brother from seeing his son I’m not leaving ‘till I know he’s DEAD!”

  “Natalia go and get Justin, I WILL FINISH THIS!” Jason said.

  “Natalia I will be in your head forever. You are a part of me and you can never change that.” Boris mocked.

  “My mother killed herself to get away from you. As a child I didn’t understand why she did it, but that was before I knew what a monster you were. Alexi is dead and I watched him choke on his own blood. He got what he deserved and now you will too. Goodbye Father, after today I will never think of you again.”

  I lowered my guns and left the room.

  JASON

  Ryan stood guard in the corner of the room.

  I pulled my knife from my belt.

  “Well, Boris, it’s just me and you. Do you know what kind of knife this is Boris?”

  “If you are going to kill me, then just do it already.”

  “It’s a fillet knife, which I like because it melts through the skin like butter.”

  “Natalia will never forget me, I’m not afraid to fucking die!”

  I stood behind Boris with my knife to his throat. A rush of anger came over me as I stood there and thought of all the pain Boris had caused.

  “Fuck you, Commander.”

  “No, fuck you Boris. I’ll see you in hell.”

  I slit Boris’s throat and watched as his blood poured out of his neck as his body went limp and fell to the ground. Ryan and I stood over Boris’s dead body. His reign of terror was finally over. Ryan and I walked into the other room to find Vince and Natalia there with Justin. I went over and picked him up off the bed to carry him out.

  “Baby, it’s over. He will never be able to hurt you again,” I said.

  “I can’t believe it’s over.”

  Natalia, Ryan, Vince and Justin went out the back of the house where Nick and Chase were waiting for us. We all met Maurice at the retreat point where we all boarded the plane and flew back to New York. On the flight back, I watched Justin sleeping in Natalia’s arms and I couldn’t believe this nightmare was over. I suddenly felt a sense of peace wash over me.

  Once we landed I said goodbye to the team and we all went our separate ways.

  Ryan and I flew to Texas for a few days to bury Ms. Virginia and Robert properly. Natalia and Justin went back to Montana where I would meet up them soon. During that time Ryan’s wife, Rayna went into labor and gave birth to their twins; a boy and a girl. They named them both Virginia Marie Armell and Robert Jason Armell. I was honored by the gesture and I’m sure Ms. Virginia and Robert were smiling down from above. Nick and his girl Madena, moved to Las Vegas and opened a hip nightclub. Vince went back to the United Kingdom and reconciled with his father. Maurice moved to New Orleans and opened a biker bar. Chase started his own private security business and married his fiancée Madyson.

  Chapter 40

  2 YEARS LATER

  “Hey Jason, wake up baby. It’s time,” Natalia said.

  “Okay baby, you sure?” I said.

  Justin ran into our while max followed behind him barking. “Justin grab Mommy’s bag, it’s time to go to the hospital to have the baby. On the way I called Ryan and told him Natalia was in labor. Ryan and his family had moved to Montana so we could all be closer to one another.

  I got Natalia and Justin in the car and we headed to the hospital. Once we got there they checked us in and Natalia got her own private room.

  “Hey Mommy, is the baby coming soon?” Justin asked.

  “Yes, your sister is coming soon.”

  Ryan and Rayna arrived at the hospital with the twins and were waiting in the waiting room. I took Justin to the waiting room and left him with Ryan. I went back to Natalia and the doctor had come in and told her it was time to push.

  “Okay baby, it’s time to push,” I said

  “Baby, it hurts,” Natalia said as she squeezed my hand.

  She pushed for a few more minutes and then my baby girl came into the world.

  “You have a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations,” the doctor said.

  They suddenly took the baby to clean her up. I walked over and looked at her and when she looked at me she had the most beautiful purple eyes which I had never seen before. The doctors and nurses were whispering which is never a good sign.

  “What’s wrong with her, Jason? I want to hold her,” Natalia said

  “Nothing is wrong baby, it’s just her eyes are a strange color.”

  I placed our baby on Natalia’s chest.

  I kissed Natalia on the forehead. “She’s perfect, right Doctor?”

  “Yes, of course, we will need to take her to check her out.”

  “She’s not going anywhere doctor. I’m not letting her out of my sight,” Natalia said.

  I picked up my daughter and walked out to the waiting room. When I walked in, a man was standing next to Ryan. When he turned I saw it was Admiral Thompson.

  “Commander we have a situation. I need you to gather all your team and come with me.”
